Reading:
This
week’s story is called “Building Beavers.” It is an informational text
discussing how beavers build their homes. We will be practicing how to find the
main idea in stories. We also are continuing to write telling sentences
correctly. (Capital letter at the
beginning, finger space between words, period at the end.) The amazing
words for the week are: beaver,
lodge, paddle, river, stream, and lake.
The sight
words to review are: the, was,
to, like, and from.

will also work on long vowel sounds.
