Week
of May 21-25, 2017
Reading:
Our new story is called “Alistar and Kip’s
Great Adventure.” This is an animal
fantasy about a dog and a cat. They build a boat and sail to the sea. We will use the plot of this story to discuss how friends can work together to
build things. Our amazing words
are: gathered, drifting, island, distant,
voyage, and aboard. The sight words we will focus on are:
for, my, of, we, and yellow.
Math:
Our kindergarten math lessons are complete! We are beginning our “Step Up to First Grade” Lessons. These topics
introduce skills the children will see next year.
